In your project's Cargo.toml, the crates you need:

[dependencies]
jev-protocol = { git = "https://lmjtfy.fun/jevcrates.git", rev = "6a0fd5dc2279414bb552df807d1c6d1962dcabc0" }
jev-client = { git = "https://lmjtfy.fun/jevcrates.git", rev = "6a0fd5dc2279414bb552df807d1c6d1962dcabc0" }
jev-http = { git = "https://lmjtfy.fun/jevcrates.git", rev = "6a0fd5dc2279414bb552df807d1c6d1962dcabc0" }
jev-worker = { git = "https://lmjtfy.fun/jevcrates.git", rev = "6a0fd5dc2279414bb552df807d1c6d1962dcabc0" }

jev-protocol the questions, the request bytes, the checks on an answer; no I/O, builds for wasm
jev-client the retry policy, behind your own transport
jev-http a native program: HTTP/2 on tokio, with a spend ledger
jev-worker a Cloudflare Worker, on its fetch

Keep the ones you use. Cargo fetches them from here; the rev pins the commit.

For agents, on top of README.md, which they read first.

Policy only: no I/O, no runtime, forbid(unsafe_code).
New retry or error behaviour gets a virtual-time test in src/client/tests.rs first; they are exact and instant.
nothing_billed is what a spend guard trusts to release a hold. Widen it only for a failure that provably reached no server.
