  • To move it, rebuild it the same way. Download the nightly SerenityOS-Emoji.ttf (nightly.link/linusg/serenityos-emoji-font), then pyftsubset SerenityOS-Emoji.ttf --unicodes="U+1F1E6-1F1FF,U+1F44D-1F44E" --layout-features="*" --flavor=woff2 --output-file=emoji.woff2 (fonttools with brotli). Without --layout-features="*" the ligatures go and every flag falls back to two letters. Update the commit and date in the README.
  • A new emoji on the page is a new code point here, in the subset and in page.css's unicode-range; outside both it falls back to the system's glyph, which on Windows is not pixel art.
  • The LICENSE stays beside the font. BSD 2-Clause requires it to go with every copy.
