The TypeSafe System One protocol without I/O or a runtime: questions with the API limits enforced at construction, the exact request bytes (state sent as given, RFC 8785 canonical for rows), responses verified against the questions and read through typed keys, structured API errors, and the vendor SDKs' retry policy. Any transport can drive it.
