Notes for agents

Never edit inside jevcrates/ from here. It is another repository. A change the daemon needs from the Jev client is made in jevcrates, committed there, and then this repository moves its submodule pin in a commit of its own.

Keep .gitmodules' URL relative (../jevcrates.git). An absolute GitHub URL breaks a clone from the lmjtfy site, which cannot reach private GitHub.

This folder gets no chapter for the submodule. jevcrates carries its own guide; do not add README or CLAUDE files inside jevcrates/.
