For agents, on top of README.md, which they read first.

• Redirect stdout AND stderr to files under run/zbanks-c/: the bot prints about 100 KB a thousand frames. Read them afterwards; never pipe a run through tail/head.
• A 30,000-frame run takes about 2.5 minutes; run it in the background.
• --make-home and the play loop both boot the patched image; a state made any other way is refused by its cartridge CRC.
• Out dirs must not be the repo root: the bot writes its debug files there.
• One Jev headless run at a time. The ledger's question bucket is wall-clock and shared by every process: two headless runs at several times real speed plus the window tripped it on 2026-09-21, and every later choice fell back to upstream's pick.
