Notes for agents

speak cannot pass the script by path. windows-exec's PowerShell can't see \\wsl.localhost (tested 2026-09-24: Test-Path is False even for /home), so the flake sends speak.ps1 inline as -EncodedCommand and fetches the WAV back from Windows' temp dir. Don't "simplify" it to -File.

Always give windows-exec </dev/null. It reads stdin; inside a while read loop it swallows the remaining lines.

Check vocoded lines with whisper before using them. A vocoder can be unintelligible and nothing reports it. whisper-cli (nixpkgs whisper-cpp, model ggml-base.en) on the output should read the words back; homophones ("TikTok" for "tic tac") are fine.
